This video captures moments from the joint BRIC–BRIM retreat, where over 30 project partners came together for two days of collaboration, learning and inspiration. In a natural setting away from daily tasks, participants reflected on progress, explored shared challenges, and discovered new ways to tell the truth in a complex media landscape.

“This event is, in fact, about collaboration, because BRIC places a strong emphasis on working together and on driving innovation within projects. The program brings together partners working on disinformation-related initiatives, offering them the opportunity to collaborate, share experiences, and strengthen societal resilience against disinformation and propaganda.” – Lara Moraru, IWPR Moldova, BRIC Project

Organised by IWPR, this retreat united partners from both the BRIC (Building Resilience Through Innovation and Collaboration) and BRIM (Building Resilience in Moldova) projects. Through joint discussions, storytelling exercises and outdoor team activities, participants strengthened trust, shared innovative practices in countering disinformation and aligned efforts for future collaboration. The event was made possible with the support of the Government of Norway and the European Union.

“This retreat offers more than just a break from routine, it’s a space to reconnect, share our experiences, and reflect on our challenges. Resilience isn’t a fixed outcome; it’s a continuous process that we strengthen through dialogue and community.” – Veronica Boboc, Youth Media Centre
