“The most important part of this course was learning how to fight fake news—but do it with humour.”

Meet the winners of Influencer Academy Moldova who are now creating viral content with a purpose, combining satire, storytelling, and fact-checking to keep Moldova’s online space both entertaining and resilient against manipulation.

The Influencer Academy Moldova is an initiative led by the Moldova School of Journalism, designed to train young content creators in the art of using humor to combat disinformation. Over three months, participants learned from some of Moldova’s top media and storytelling experts, producing more than 50 videos that challenge false narratives and encourage critical thinking.
