If the worst happens, frontline professionals need to be able to use first aid immediately and correctly to save lives, including their own.

IWPR provides safety, security and emergency medical training for journalists and rights defenders across Ukraine, working with expert Ukrainian trainers and the Ukraine Media Centre, among other partners.

We have also provided 50 top-flight flack jackets to Ukrainian journalists on the frontlines.
