Afghan minister says Bin Laden is in Pakistan

Al-Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden is living inside Pakistan, but the authorities there are only making half-hearted efforts to catch him, Afghan foreign minister Rangin Dadfar Spanta said on May 12. “According to everything we know, he really is living in Pakistan, near to the Afghan border,” Spanta said. “Our neighbour could certainly catch him and put him on trial. But to our knowledge, their efforts to do this have always been half-hearted,” he said.
