Kadhi Condemns Latest Explosions

Tareek al-Shaab is issued by the Iraqi Communist Party.

The special envoy of the United Nations Ahraf Kadhi has strongly condemned the bombing of Bab al-Sharqi that took place on Monday, causing 200 casualties. He described it as a "cruel and barbarian crime". He added that such acts should prompt people to reject violence and adopt peace and reconciliation. Kadhi focused on arresting criminals and sentencing them, and urged clerics and politicians to save Iraq from sliding towards civil and sectarian war.
