Sixty Afghan students, including 23 girls, will leave for Germany on January 15 to attend a month-long computer training course , said Dr Shah Wali Adib, spokesman for the Ministry of Higher Education. He said the students had been selected from among 98 candidates from universities in Kabul, Herat, Nangarhar, Baghlan, Kapisa, Khost, Kunduz, Balkh, Shiberghan and Takhar. The German embassy in Kabul said the students would take software and hardware courses during their stay, which has been arranged by Bochum University. All their expenses will be covered by the German foreign ministry.
