Taleban militant killed in Nuristan

Erada is an independent daily run by the Afghan Media and Resource Centre.

One Taleban militant was killed and three others captured after they attacked a security post in the eastern province of Nuristan on the night of April 21. Provincial governor Samim Nuristan confirmed the incident and added that those detained included one Pakistani national. The Taleban have claimed responsibility for the attack, saying three police were killed in the attack.
