The Afghan defence ministry on Monday said two armed men with a number of weapons and ammunition had been arrested in the western province of Herat. Defence ministry spokesman General Zahir Azimi, said the two men were detained during an operation conducted by the Afghan National Army in the Karim Khan village of the Shindand district on Sunday. He added that 274 BM rocket shells, 80 fuses, a rocket and huge quantity of ammunition were seized.
