Mujadiddi elected president of Meshrano Jirga

Anis is a state-run daily published mostly in Dari.

The former Afghan president Sebghatullah Mujadiddi was elected president of the Meshrano Jirga, or upper house of the parliament. More than half of the 102-member house gave him their support on December 20.
