Afghan officials insist intelligence on Taleban in Pakistan is accurate

Presidential spokesman Mohammad Karim Rahimi has insisted that the intelligence passed to the Islamabad government on the location of Taleban and other terrorists inside Pakistan - including the address of Taleban leader Mullah Omar - is correct and accurate. Addressing a press conference in Kabul on March 7, spokesman Rahimi reiterated the Afghan government’s opposition to a [Pakistani] proposal to fence off the border between the two countries. Afghanistan’s objection is that such a barrier would separate communities living on either side of the frontier. Pakistan has accused Afghanistan of involvement in recent turmoil in Baluchistan province – an allegation rejected by both the Afghan government and Pakistani political analysts.
