Al-Sabah is a daily independent, publicly-owned newspaper.

Minister of State for Civil Society Affairs Adil al-Asadi has underlined the importance of civil society groups in educating the public about national reconciliation and the rejection of violence, terrorism, and extremism. He urged these groups to cooperate with the governmental and security apparatus and to adopt development projects across the country.
