Kirkuk Security Handed Over to Iraqi Forces

In a ceremony at Kaiwan military base (on May 2,) multi-national forces officially gave control of security in Kirkuk to Iraqi forces. The ceremony was attended by the commander of the Iraqi army's fourth division, the commander of the multi-national forces in Kirkuk, Iraqi officers and Kirkuk administration officials. Colonel David Gray said Iraqi forces in Kirkuk have proved their ability to combat terror and preserve stability in the area.
