Accident claims two lives on Kabul-Kandahar highway

Outlook is an independent daily published in English.

Two people were killed and three other injured in an accident on the Kabul-Kandahar highway near the capital of the southern province of Ghazni, officials said on December 13. Colonel Mohammad Gul, an officer with the Ghazni traffic department, said the mishap took place in the village of Spinda when a car tried to overtake a vehicle, and collided with another car. One of the drivers and an official were killed.
