The Auditor-General Department of Pakistan has demanded 8.5 million US dollars as compensation for damages done to the Pakistani embassy in Kabul by Afghan protestors. Pakistan says its embassy has been attacked and damaged three times: in 1990, 1994 and 2005. The issue was raised at a time when Afghan president Hamed Karzai was paying a four-day official visit to India.
