Man kills five family members, then himself

A man has killed five female members of his family in the Manjigak district of the northern province of Jowzjan, officials said on May 6. Provincial security officials identified the dead as the man’s three sisters, his mother and his wife. The killer committed suicide after murdering his family members, said the officials, adding that the motive was unclear at this stage in the investigation.
