Three Afghan policemen were wounded by a roadside bomb in the Andar district of the central province of Ghazni on the night of May 8. Officials said the men were travelling in a patrol car on the Ghazni-Sharan highway near Band-e-Sarda. Provincial security chief Abdul Wakil Kamyab said that the wounded policemen were taken for treatment at the United States-run Provincial Reconstruction Team. One of them was in critical condition.
