Temple looted in Khost

Outlook is an independent daily published in English.

Armed men stole cash and valuables from a temple in the southeastern province of Khost, said a local Hindu elder on April 19. Luck Mir Singh said 30 gunmen stormed the temple and stole two golden knives and some cash, but did not harm religious books or other items. He said the incident had no religious or political motive. Several suspects have been arrested.
