Four suspected robbers arrested in Khost

Afghan police on February 27 arrested four suspected robbers in the Nadir Shah Kot district of the south-eastern province of Khost. Provincial police chief Mohammad Ayoub said that following a tip-off, police barricaded the Kabul-Khost highway. They signalled to a suspicious vehicle to stop, but the armed men inside it opened fire at them. The police retaliated and chased the vehicle, arresting the four men after an exchange of fire.
