Anis is a state-run daily published mostly in Dari.

An armed gang of robbers attacked a vehicle belonging to the Afghanistan International Bank, AIB, vehicle in the Shashdarak area of Kabul on April 12, killing one guard and wounding the driver. Officials at the Afghan interior ministry said the incident happened when the vehicle was transferring money from the AIB to the Afghan Central Bank. They said the amount stolen by the robbers is still not clear. Police have launched an investigation to capture the thieves.
