Jawed Ashraf Qazi, Pakistan’s education minister and the former head of Inter Services Intelligence, ISI, has urged Afghan refugees to leave Pakistan. Addressing a seminar in Pakistan on March 31, Qazi said, “We have hosted the Afghan refugees for 30 years and now we are tired of them.” He added that the refugees should consider the current problems of Pakistan and return to their own country. According to a trilateral agreement signed by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, Afghanistan and Pakistan, the refugees should return to their country voluntarily.
