Nick Raistrick

Nick is a freelance journalist and communications consultant specialising in human rights, disinformation and conflict sensitive reporting. He was Africa Resilience Editor at IWPR, where he wrote a handbook on health disinformation, as well as writing and producing podcast series on disinformation and human rights in Nigerian and Kenya. He spent almost a decade at the BBC, where he ended up as journalism training editor at BBC Media Action, working on a wide range of humanitarian media projects in Syria, Somalia, Nigeria, Rwanda and a number of former Soviet Union countries. He’s also written journalism training material for the UN, DfID, Internews, FCDO and USAID.
