Ruling Party Pledges University Support

Syria Media Report, 13-Dec-07

The Baath party has pledged to provide more support for Damascus University following a conference there.

The party’s newspaper, Al-Baath, reported on December 10 that the Baath national leadership promised to provide the university with better educational resources such as audio and video equipment and new books. The party also agreed to establish an information database for the university.
