Sunni MP Challenges Draft Kurdish Constitution

Aso is a Suleimaniyah-based independent newspaper published three days a week.

Khalaf Al-Aliyan, a Sunni MP in the Iraqi parliament, has opposed a draft Kurdish constitution which considers Ninawa and Dyala in Kirkuk province Kurdish cities. He also criticised President Talabani's remarks that American forces should stay in Iraq.
