Taleban kill four abducted foreigners

Islah is a state-run daily published mostly in Dari.

The Taleban said on March 13 that they had killed four foreign nationals whom they had abducted two days earlier. The four - ethnic Albanians with Macedonian citizenship - were kidnapped in the Girishk district of the southern province of Helmand on March 11. In total, the insurgents abducted eight workers with the ECOLOG services company: the four Albanians plus four Afghans, who were released on March 12. The Afghan interior ministry has yet not confirmed the killings.
