Death Penalty Revived In Iraqi Kurdistan

Awene is a Sulaimaniyah-based independent newspaper issued weekly by Awene Company.

The Iraqi Kurdistan parliament has unanimously voted to re-institute the death penalty. The law will go to the Kurdish president for final approval and ratification.
