Two Canadian soldiers were wounded when their vehicle hit a remote-controlled bomb in the Sangin district of the southern province of Helmand on April 19. Captain Julie Roberge, a spokesperson for the Canadian forces, said one soldier was in critical condition. Taleban rebels claimed responsibility for the attack.
