Militans Raid Baquba Hospital

London-based Azzaman is issued daily by Saad al-Bazaz.

Militants attacked Baquba hospital, killing four guards before releasing 13 wounded suspects who were held by police and were being treated in hospital. A police source told Azzaman that six militants raided the hospital yesterday morning in downtown Baquba and freed the wounded suspects. Police sources said that some hospital guards were arrested on suspicion that they had facilitated the incident. The sources also said that police were able to re-arrest three of the (13) suspects released by the militants.
