Prime Minister's Reconciliation Plan

Al-Sabah al-Jadeed is an independent daily paper.

President Jalal Talabani has affirmed his full backing for the security plan for Baghdad, saying he believed it would be a success and asking political and religious leaders and mosque preachers to help make that happen. He also voiced approval for a reconciliation plan set out by Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, who has still to decide when to announce it because he is still busy with security matters.
