The president of the Kurdistan region severely criticized Amr Musa, the head of the Arab League, for describing Kurdistan as part of the Arab nation and for describing the attacks on foreign forces as “resistance.” Political groups considered the statements of Kurdistan regional government president Masoud Barzani, who said foreign forces are our friends who helped us get rid of Saddam. As for the withdrawal of the foreign forces, he said that they should pull out when the political process is completed and Iraq has strong security forces. He rejected describing terrorism as resistance because targeting friends is not a resistance by any means.
