Pakistani national arrested in Kunar

Arman-e-Milli is an independent daily run by a group of journalists.

Police arrested a Pakistani national suspected of links to al-Qaeda in the eastern province of Kunar on March 11, officials said. The man, a member of the Lashkar-e-Toiba [Army of the Pure] of Pakistan, is being interrogated by local police. Meanwhile, the US-led coalition forces on the same day arrested two armed militants near the Tora Bora mountains in the eastern province of Nangarhar, Afghan police said.
