Samarra Bombing “Unites Iraqis”

Sunni tribal leaders, clerics and other prominent figures declared that the Samarra bombing was the worst crime committed in the history of the new Iraq. The day had unified Iraqis against terrorists, they said during a conference organized by the Sadrist movement on the first anniversary of the incident. The Sunni Endowment, Muslims Clerics Association, Sunni tribal leaders, the Islamic Unity organization and the Islamic Party were among the groups at the meeting.
