A bomb blast killed two Afghan policemen and injured two others during a poppy eradication operation in the southern province of Helmand on April 10, said a police official. Provincial police chief General Abdul Rahman Saber said it was not immediately clear whether the blast was caused by a roadside bomb or a landmine. He noted that Afghan forces are routinely targeted by militants in Helmand.
