Eleven Refugee Camps Planned

Al-Sabah is a daily newspaper supported by the Iraqi government.

The ministry in charge of displaced people and immigration is trying to establish 11 camps across Iraq for internally displaced persons, IDPs, to provide shelter for families forced to leave their homes. Ministry official Abdulrahman al-Sultan said the camps would have electricity, water and other services, and would distribute food and other humanitarian aid to the IDPs.
