Protest follows killing of ISAF soldier

Islah is a state-run daily mostly in Dari.

Residents of the Bagrami district in Kabul province condemned acts of terrorism and voiced support for the Afghan government at a November 19 gathering held at the Shiwaki village mosque. Condemning such attacks, Haji Mahmood and Mohammad Najib, representing residents of the villages of Shiwaki and Sahak, made speeches saying they would not allow anyone to carry out terrorist and destructive acts in their areas. The gathering came shortly after a Portuguese soldier serving with ISAF was killed in a roadside bomb explosion in the village of Miakhil in the same district.
