Four foreign nationals accused of smuggling weapons who were arrested in Kabul several days ago have been arraigned in court. Two of them are British, one Indian and the fourth is American. If found guilty, they could be sentenced to six years in prison. The accused deny the allegations, saying they were unaware of the charges against them before they appeared in court. But according to sources in the judiciary, they confessed to arms smuggling at a preliminary court hearing. The judge gave them 15 days to prepare their defence.
