Najaf Refinery Starts Production

Al-Mada is issued daily by Al-Mada Institution for Media, Culture and Arts.

Najaf province announced that its refinery would start production soon. Refinery manager Zaid Shareef said the refinery would work with three units that have capacities of 70,000 barrels a day to meet the province's demand for oil. He reported that Doora refinery has a contract with an Emirates company to provide the refinery with electricity in the future. Shareef said the refinery would produce kerosene, fuel and gas.
