Talabani Attends Islamic Conference

Al-Mada is issued daily by Al-Mada institution for Media, Culture, and Arts.

President Jalal Talabani arrived in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to participate in the exceptional session of the Islamic conference scheduled to begin on December 7. Members of Talabani's delegation said before departing to Jeddah that the Iraqi delegation will address terrorism. The delegates added that they would also talk about terrorists who believe that all Iraqis are non-believers, the Kurds are traitors, Shias are rejectionists and Sunnis who do not agree with their views are converts. Talabani will seek support from the Arab kings and leaders to denounce terrorism and to aid the Iraqi people. He will also encourage them to stop the media from describing terrorism as resistance.
