Pakistani arrested in Khost

Arman-e-Milli is an independent daily run by a group of journalists.

Police arrested a Pakistani national on February 4 on charges of carrying out terrorist acts in the southeastern province of Khost. Provincial police chief General Mohammad Ayoub said that the alleged terrorist admitted his crimes under interrogation, saying he had come to the province to conduct terrorist acts. The police chief refused to give details of the detainee. The arrest came after the US military base in Khost came under rocket attack in the province the previous night.
