Noorrahman Rahmani | Institute for War and Peace Reporting
Noorrahman Rahmani is IWPR’s country director in Afghanistan. He holds a master's degree in public policy from the University of Bristol UK, a postgraduate diploma in journalism from the London School of Journalism, and BA in business administration from the American University of Afghanistan. Rahmani is an alumnus of the UK government's prestigious Chevening Scholarship. Before becoming country director, Rahmani worked as director of operations with IWPR Afghanistan, and prior to that director of finance. He joined IWPR in 2005. In addition to his work for IWPR, Rahmani also served as a senior analyst on South Asia for TruBridge Consulting. Earlier in his career, he worked as administrative specialist and translator for Kellogg, Brown & Root.
