Election Results Expected to Be Ratified

Hussein al-Hindawi, a member of the Independent Electoral Commission in Iraq, said the commission expected the election results to be formally ratified by the end of the week. He said the commission has presented all required documents proving the credibility of the election results. Political blocs have been waiting for the final election results in order to begin forming the new government.
