Talabani criticises Istanbul conference

Al-Adala is issued daily by the Supreme Council of the Islamic Revolution in Iraq.

President Jalal Talabani condemned the recent Istanbul conference to support Sunnis in Iraq, saying it could provoke sedition and sectarianism. Talabani said he was astonished that Turkey – while calling for Iraq and the Kurds to fight the PKK – hosted a conference at which participants called for violence against the government.
