Two schools torched in Sar-e-Pul

Cheragh is an independent daily run by the Development and Democracy Association.

Unidentified men set fire to two schools in the Sayad district of the northern province of Sar-e-Pul on the night of April 28, officials said. Provincial education department head Khalilzada confirmed the news, adding that armed men entered the compounds of both schools overnight and torched tents book storage facilities. The official did not sasy who was responsible for the attack. Police are investigating the matter but no one has been arrested, the source added.
