Al-Mashriq is published daily by Al-Mashriq Institution for Media and Cultural Investments.

A source at the electricity ministry said saboteurs were responsible for recent electricity cuts that affected Baghdad and the middle-Euphrates area. He added that technicians and engineering staff did their best to repair the power system and get it back into service.
