Primary school curriculum to change

Cheragh is an independent daily run by the Development and Democracy Association.

The Afghan education ministry has decided to change the curriculum used in primary schools. A ministry press officer, Ghulam Ali Zinal, said all textbooks will be replaced with new ones in the educational year that begins on March 21. Some 3.6 million copies of books for first and fourth grade pupils have been produced and handed out in 25 provinces, while distribution is still going on in Kabul and Zabul.
