Pakistan's dual policy on Afghanistan condemned

Anis is a state-run daily published mostly in Dari.

Pakistani analysts condemned their country’s duplicitous policy towards Afghanistan, saying Islamabad is the main factor behind insecurity in Afghanistan. Latif Afridi, a member of Pakistan’s parliament, said in an interview that his country is a close ally of America in the “war on terror”, yet it trains and shelters terrorists in border areas and then sends them into Afghanistan. Meanwhile, Afrasiab Khatak, another Pakistani politician, has described the country as a factory that produces terrorists.
