Islamic Party and Sadrists Secure Deal

Al-Mada is issued daily by Al-Mada institution for Media, Culture, and Arts.

The Sadrist movement and the Islamic Party have reached an agreement on establishing joint committees to safeguard neighbourhoods of mixed ethnicity, and to help security forces achieve their mission goals. In a meeting attended by President Jalal Talabani, both sides talked in general terms about the security situation and specifically about the Baghdad security plan.
