Action Plan for Kurdistan Fuel Crisis

Kurdistani Nwe is a political daily issued by the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan.

The Iraqi government decided on September 20 to form a ministerial committee to address the fuel crises in the Kurdistan region as winter approaches. The committee will have the authority to contract and sign agreements with companies to ensure supplies of fuel, especially kerosene, for people in the region. Rauf Osman, a Kurdish member of the Iraqi parliament, told Kurdisatni Nwe that he had informed the authorities of the fuel shortages, saying the current allocation was insufficient.
