Group of suspected militants arrested following Kunar attacks

Arman-e-Milli is an independent daily run by a group of journalists.

US-led Coalition forces and the Afghan National Army on March 13 arrested 21 militants suspected of the killing of four US soldiers in the eastern province of Kunar. Defence ministry spokesman Zahir Azimi said the US soldiers were killed by a remote-controlled explosive device on March 12. In a separate development, Afghan security forces arrested a Taleban militant in the Urgun district of the southeastern province of Paktika on March 13.
