Ja'afari Visits Anbar Province

Prime minister Ibrahim al-Ja'afari on Sunday paid a visit to Anbar province. He met with the head of the provincial council and political leaders in Ramadi and Fallujah. He said he wanted to visit the province to better understand its needs. Military operations there have significantly damaged infrastructure. Ja'afari said the government allocated 75 million dollars to rebuild the province, and that Iraqi forces will replace US forces which are handling the security situations there. He extended his condolences to the families of the victims of the last terrorist attack in Anbar.
