Taleban fighters caught in Helmand

Erada is an independent daily run by the Afghan Media and Resource Centre.

Four suspected Taleban insurgents were arrested during a sweep by the Afghan National Army troops in the southern province of Helmand on December 13. Defence ministry spokesman Zahir Azimi said the four suspected Taleban were captured in the Nawzad district of the province. All are Afghan nationals. The same day, four United States soldiers were wounded in a mine blast in the Maiwand district of the southern province of Kandahar.
